The agreement is in the best interest of farmers, rural businesses and the communities they call home

Modernizing and securing a strong, lasting trade relationship with Mexico and Canada through the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) is in the best interest of all of agriculture -- crop and dairy farmers, rural businesses and the communities they call home. Land O’Lakes has supported USMCA since the agreement was reached in 2018.
Now we need Congress to move quickly in ratifying USMCA because it achieves several key priorities for U.S. agriculture, including increased market access, improved regulatory coordination and a unified approval process for biotech traits.
Right now, the American Farm Bureau Federation is spearheading an effort to send a letter (included below) to U.S. House and U.S. Senate leadership that demonstrates the broad support for USMCA throughout the agriculture industry.
This letter is an important opportunity for Land O’Lakes members to showcase the grassroots strength of our system by adding the name of your organization to the letter. Supporters of the letter will include national, state and local organizations, as well as individual companies and cooperatives.
Land O’Lakes is collecting signatures from retail-owners who wish to be included and will relay them to Farm Bureau as a united system. If you are an ag retailer and want to list your business on this important letter, please click the link below, add your name and your organization’s name and press “Send.” Please let us know by Monday, May 27 if your company can be listed.
