Year-end savings available on Caterpillar and fleet purchases

As a farmer- and retailer-owned cooperative, the benefits of our collective size and scale can show up in many ways. One of those benefits is using our aggregate purchasing power to negotiate better prices on products and services for our entire co-op system.

Since 2014, our BuyPoint program has helped our owners save millions on a variety of products and services such as trucks, tires, hardware, skid loaders and office supplies. As we move closer to the end of the year, we wanted to alert you to a few special savings opportunities available through your affiliation with Land O’Lakes, Inc.

Special year-end offers from Caterpillar®

Land O’Lakes has partnered with Caterpillar to deliver many exclusive benefits, including competitive and consistent support structure on new Cat® construction equipment purchases up to 30 percent off list price.

And now you can get an additional $1,500 off your National Account price when you purchase a 903C-938M Caterpillar wheel loader, or an additional $500 off your National Account price when you buy a Caterpillar skid steer loader or Caterpillar compact track loader before December 31, 2018.

Expand your fleet

Land O’Lakes has also helped negotiate favorable pricing for fleet vehicles and heavy equipment. Benefits from purchasing through our Fleet Program include:

  • Receive an extended powertrain warranty, 40,000 more miles to help retain the value of your vehicle. Trade ins are wanted and welcome

  • Replace your vehicle before 40,000 for a premium trade in price and lower the cost of ownership

  • 2019 Models are available for order and out of stock purchases

  • Savings on average is $6,000 on a new unit before rebates are offered to the general public.

BuyPoint registration is NOT required to participate in either of these programs but we encourage all Land O'Lakes member-owners to register and take advantage of the great savings opportunities. There is no cost associated with registering and BuyPoint members have seen typical savings of 3 percent to 40 percent on a variety of products and services.
