As a member-owned cooperative, Land O’Lakes, Inc. is especially grateful for our farmers each and every day. But on National Farmer’s Day, we’d like to unify all our voices and give a special “thank you” to the men and women who work in the fields, barns and dairy parlors and serve as the backbone of our economy and are essential to global food security.

Less than 2 percent of us help sustain the rest of us.

Throughout our cooperative system, we know how important farmers are, so let’s make sure everyone else knows it, too.

How do we do this?

1. Thank a farmer on Friday, Oct. 12 for National Farmer’s Day.

2. Share the love on social media: Check out our special website and download fun ‘I heart farmer’ graphics to help spread the word.

3. Give our ‘thank you’ video a watch, and share it with your networks

4. Or, create your own post or visit our Land O’Lakes, Inc. social channels and share, like or re-tweet our content. Make sure to include the hashtag #NationalFarmersDay.
