World Dairy Expo is one of the biggest events of the year for dairy producers around the world. Each year, producers, companies, organizations and other dairy enthusiasts come together to compete and to exchange ideas, knowledge, technology and commerce. It’s an opportunity to show the industry what you’re all about—and that’s just what we’re going to do.

Once again, WinField United, Purina Animal Nutrition and Member Relations are sharing a booth at World Dairy Expo in Madison, Wis., Oct. 2-6, to showcase Land O’Lakes, Inc.’s farmer-to-fork view of the food and ag industries.

Like last year, we will have a Land O’Lakes, Inc. booth open to attendees Tuesday through Friday. New this year, we have a special side room where we’ll host special sessions focused on feed, forage, calf care and safety.

Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to hear from a few featured experts including:

• “Dairyman of the Year” and Enterprise Member Pete Kappelman (11 a.m. – Noon, Wednesday)

  • Learn more about how Pete leverages WinField United and Purina feed offerings in his operation to increase his herd performance.

• Land O’Lakes Dairy Conservation Manager Amber Mirabal (3-5 p.m., Thursday)

  • Visit with Amber to learn more about the role Land O’Lakes is playing in on-farm sustainability.

Our place within the dairy industry

More than 175,000 people from all over the world visit the expo each year. To get their attention, you have to differentiate yourself. As a farm-to-fork enterprise, we can offer dairy producers forages through our crop business, nutrition and animal milk replacers through our feed business and milk processing and marketing through our dairy foods business. We also provide products and services through Member Relations and connect producers to developing dairy industries through Land O’Lakes International Development.
